Gospel music is the unique music genre that is made by the Christians to express their personal and spiritual communal with god. There are some controversies that speculated over the continuous fame of the gospel music. Some say that the evolving Christian music has washed away the dignity and standard of the real Christian music. This is because a lot of artists have been remaking their way of gospel music and even made rock gospel songs. The idea of church music has slowly been unappreciated. The old hymns of the church are just history, especially with the Christian-protestants.

A big part of what really set The Beatles apart from other bands early 1960s was that they were songwriters. In fact, 8 of the 14 songs on their debut 1963 album{, Please Please Me} were written by Paul McCartney and John Lennon. “P.S. I Love You” – This was the b-side to “Love Me Do.” I think I prefer it, but that is probably mostly because I have not heard it as many times.

“Do You Want To Know A Secret?” – One of their most catchy songs even if it’s not among their best.

“There’s A Place” – I think this song stands out on the debut because of it’s introspective lyrics. It’s an early indication that the Fab Four wouldn’t always write songs about how much they loved a young lady.

The Beatles final five LPs were Magical Mystery Tour, The White Album, Yellow Submarine, Abbey Road, and Let It Be. This article includes a short overview of each of them.

All of these classic albums are contained in the Remastered Beatles Stereo Box Set and the first two are contained in the Remastered Beatles Mono CD Box Set.

Magical Mystery Tour (1967) – Possibly their most underrated album and I suppose that’s at least partly because it’s not really a true album so some people have a hard time giving it real respect for the excellent songs on it. It’s the Fab Four at their most purposefully psychedelic before they began to pull it back a bit and as a lover of psychedelia, that makes it right up my alley.

The White Album (1968) – My all time favorite album by anyone. It does not flow as well as Abbey Road or Sgt. Pepper and you could make an argument that it is not as consistent as Revolver or Rubber Soul are but I love listening to it because of the fantastic variety that it lets me hear. This 30 track album is a true work of art.

Yellow Submarine (1969) – This “album” isn’t really much of a Beatles album because it includes only four Beatles recordingss that weren’t previously released on other albums. Yet “Hey Bulldog” and “It’s All Too Much” make it worth listening to.

Abbey Road (1969) – This 17 track album is the favorite of lots of Beatles fans and for many very good reasons. The most obvious is the stunning “suite” of side two put together by Paul McCartney and George Martin. And of course there are the classic stand alone tracks like “Come Together,” “Something,” and “Here Comes The Sun.” This album is also the “smoothest” and most “modern” production sound of The Beatles career.

Let It Be (1970) – The last Beatles album released but Abbey Road was, in fact, the last Beatles album to be recorded. It’s a bit sloppy and uneven by Fab Four standard yet it still contains several legendary songs like “Let It Be” and “Across The Universe.”
